Our new Zeiss Imager Z1 reflected light microscope (06/25/2020)

Our new microscope Imager Z1 has been optimized for optical applications and combines the sharpest and most detailed images with the best optics and resolution. Various Epiplan-Apochromatic, C-Apochromatic and Epiplan-Neofluare objectives are available for this, ranging from 5x to 150x magnification. The system is rounded off with a high-resolution 18MP microscope camera with corresponding special software, which makes it possible, for example, to create Z stacks (3D images) of the samples. The areas of application include research, forensics, quality control of raw materials and material analysis.

Our ICP-OES system goes into operation (13.01.2020)

With the ICP-OES system (induced coupled plasma), the elemental composition can be determined in the ppm range. This is of interest for heavy metal analysis and for assessing drinking and service water (e.g. industrial companies). We also offer special tests for aquaristics (fresh and salt water). More information can be found here.

New EDX detector at the start (07/12/2019)

With our new EDX detector (built in 2019) it is possible for us to determine the specific atomic composition of solids even more precisely. Material analysis or quality assurance is also easier and more cost-efficient with the nitrogen-free version. All sub-areas, pharmaceutical, material and environmental analysis, will benefit from this in the future.

Our new imaging system is in operation (25.02.2019)

We would like to inform you about our new microscopic imaging system (Zeiss Axioplan 2 Imaging), with which we are able to cover almost the entire light microscopic spectrum of examination options. The special 16MP camera with high-resolution software in connection with high-quality lenses enables a view into the microcosm with unimagined sharpness and contrast. We would be happy to provide you with specific information on possible research and analysis processes in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, material and environmental sectors.

Our new CFA logo! (22.03.2018)

Welcome CFA GmbH (01.12.2017)

Our company name has been adapted to the current situation and our company profile in the field of analytics has been sharpened. Nothing stands in the way of future expansion. We will be happy to inform you about this further development. Our headquarters have now also been relocated from Marktstrasse to Rechberghäuser Weg, which corresponds to the new weighting. We look forward to being able to offer you a new, broader spectrum in the future.

New measurement technology developed by us to determine the transparency of networks and broken objects (18.09.2017)

The sample is optically recorded and measured in a special test box, which minimizes external influences. The light intensity, the viewing angle, the background and other parameters can be changed as required. This makes it possible to capture the transparency from different angles. The evaluation with special software also enables optical effects such as mimicry to be examined with similar color values. If you are interested in similar examinations or would like further information, please feel free to contact us without obligation.

Introduced: Our modern Fourier transform infrared spectrometry for various applications (21.06.2017)

Our new, modern Nicolet FT-IR system can reliably determine organic compounds qualitatively and quantitatively and can be of great use, for example, in the pharmaceutical and plastics sector, since impurities can also be detected. For more information see: Chemical-pharmacological tests

Our new quality label (03/20/2017)

From this year we will provide our customers with an advertising label for tests carried out on end products or intermediate products or product parts. Please contact us for the exact terms of use.

Our new meeting & office space is now available (03/08/2017)

After the renovations, our new office area is presented, which we can use multifunctionally for meetings and meetings.

New method for inline measurement of fine dust and particles in the air (05.09.2016)

With our new fine dust measuring device APC M3, fine dust can be differentiated in terms of size and measured quantitatively. The system works inline (live) and delivers immediate results. Thanks to the ISO 14644 approval, the device can also be used for biomonitoring in clean rooms and laboratories.

UV simulations for the color fastness of wood protection paints in cooperation with Gnature AG (09.06.2016)

In our UV chamber, natural wood as well as wood painted with Gnature wood protection paint was irradiated with high-energy UV light. During this process, an amount of energy was released over several days that would otherwise correspond to years of natural UV radiation. The color changes were recorded quantitatively and evaluated. The result was impressive: the painted wood showed significantly less change in color than the natural wood. This slight change speaks for the excellent UV stability of the color used.

2nd entrepreneur forum of the WJ-Göppingen and the IHK on November 6th, 2013 at Cfa analytics (November 8th, 2013)

After the first entrepreneur forum in 2013 at the Strassacker company, the second entrepreneur forum of the Göppingen Business Juniors took place on November 6, 2013 in our rooms and in the laboratory. The keynote lecture was given by Marc Hradecky under the title: "Insights into quality assurance processes - implementation and possibilities in material analysis" Afterwards the laboratory could be visited. The evening ended with red wine and snacks in good company.

Hazardous substances exercise by the Göppingen fire brigade (27.03.2013)

We gladly agreed to help design and simulate a practice scenario for a serious chemical accident. On Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. the time had come and the Bartenbach and Göppingen fire brigades started the exercise. A fog machine created the right atmosphere. After completing the exercise, we visited our laboratory, which was attended by over 20 firefighters.

After the big fire - pollutant analysis of La Gomera soil samples! (30.09.2012)

After the big fire on La Gomera in August 2012, in which over 40km² of island area were destroyed, many residents complained of nausea and headaches. Soil samples were then collected from three locations in Valle Gran Rey de La Gomera and analyzed for heavy metals and toxins in our laboratory. All samples were washed out and characterized. All brand-type values, such as lead or cyanide content, were within normal guide values. Only the formaldehyde content of a sample from El Guro was significantly higher at 0.8 mg / kg. As a result, it can be stated that the entry of easily soluble pollutants from the fire was very low.

New examination possibilities - sub-area liquid analysis starts operation! (03.09.2012)

The first devices in the water & soil analysis laboratory have started work. These include qualitative and quantitative methods according to DIN photometry, colorometry (semi-quantitative) and chemical quick tests. A large number of different sample types can be analyzed quickly and inexpensively. From arable soil to food, galvanic solutions to textiles. We are happy to help

The euro crisis - the euro is corroding! (12.06.2012) Current investigation of euro cent coins from the minting year 2001

The scanning microscopic examination of several 1 cent coins that have been in circulation since the introduction of the euro (2002) produced interesting findings in our laboratory. The surface showed some severe signs of corrosion of the copper jacket with deep valleys and pitting. Not only physico-chemical causes could be identified, but also possible defects in the material used. The result is that it is not only the euro area that is beginning to corrode, but also money itself.

Our new chemical analysis laboratory starts work (May 1st, 2012) Conversion of our laboratory rooms is nearing the end

After the new image analysis laboratory, our new chemistry laboratory has now been successfully inaugurated. Further laboratory areas, including those for liquid analysis, are expected to follow in July 2012 and September 2012 when the renovation work has been completed.
